The Client

Gold Collagen is a premium beauty and wellness brand built around liquid collagen supplements taken as a daily ritual. The product asks for consistency, a small act repeated day after day, and rewards it over time. That patience is the brand's promise, and it is also the shape of its business.

Ritual products live or die on the second purchase. Gold Collagen engaged us to build a growth program that treated every acquisition as the start of a relationship: growth strategy grounded in customer-behavior analysis, paid media to bring the right people in, and email workflows with lifecycle automation to keep them. We ran it as one omnichannel program, with A/B creative testing feeding every channel, so what we learned in one place made every other place sharper.

The Challenge

The Economics of a Daily Habit

Liquid collagen is a deliberate purchase in a crowded category, and the first order rarely tells the whole story. Gold Collagen's economics depend on the ritual taking hold: a customer who stays for months is worth a multiple of one who tries a bottle and drifts away. Growth built on acquisition alone would have kept the brand on a treadmill, paying full price for every new customer while the ones it had already won quietly lapsed. The brand also had ambitions beyond its own storefront, and distribution partners look hard at the strength of the direct business before they sign. Every gain in retention would count twice.

The Approach

One Program, Built to Compound

We started with customer-behavior analysis, mapping how buyers actually adopted the ritual: when they reordered, when they stalled, and what separated the customers who stayed from those who sampled once. That analysis set the growth strategy, and the strategy assigned every channel a role. Paid media carried acquisition, tuned toward the audiences most likely to stay. Email workflows and lifecycle automation carried the ritual itself, meeting customers at the moments our data said they wavered. A/B creative testing ran continuously across both, so winning messages moved from ad to inbox. The result was one omnichannel program in which every channel made the others more efficient.

01
Behavior Mapping

We analyzed reorder timing and drop-off points to define the moments where the ritual takes hold or breaks.

02
Precision Acquisition

Paid media targeted the audiences whose behavior matched the brand's best long-term customers.

03
Lifecycle Choreography

Email workflows and lifecycle automation reached customers at the points our analysis flagged as decisive for retention.

04
Continuous Creative Testing

A/B creative tests ran across every channel, and winners were redeployed throughout the omnichannel program.

The Results

Returns on Ritual

Paid media reached a 4x ROAS as creative testing found its winners, and targeted website traffic climbed +125%. The deeper story was in what happened after the first order. Lifecycle automation lifted customer retention +30%, and the customers who stayed spent more: customer LTV rose +20%. That strength traveled beyond the brand's own storefront. With a direct business this healthy as proof, market expansion grew distribution deals +50%, carrying Gold Collagen into new markets. Acquisition paid for itself, retention multiplied it, and distribution extended it. Each result made the next one easier to earn.
