COMMERCE & PAYMENTS

Shopify

Shopify storefronts engineered for growth, data, and AI-driven commerce.

Overview

Shopify is a hosted commerce platform that runs the full retail stack — catalog, checkout, payments, orders, and fulfillment — behind a set of admin, storefront, and webhook APIs. Merchants sell through Shopify's Liquid themes or a headless frontend powered by the Storefront API, and extend the backend with apps, Functions, and Flow. It scales from single-founder stores to high-volume Plus and B2B operations.

How we build with it

We build on Shopify at both ends of the stack. On the storefront, we ship fast Liquid themes and headless builds on Hydrogen or Next.js against the Storefront API, wiring custom product configurators, subscription flows, and localized B2B catalogs. On the backend we use the Admin GraphQL API, metafields, Functions (for discounts, delivery, and checkout logic), and Flow to model the merchant's real operations rather than forcing them into stock templates.

For growth and AI work we treat Shopify as a first-class data source. We stream orders, checkouts, and customer events through webhooks into our warehouse and CDP, reconcile them against ad-platform and lifecycle data, and feed clean revenue signals back into paid media, attribution, and retention models. We also build private apps and embedded admin extensions so merchandising, forecasting, and personalization models run where the operators already work.

01
Headless replatform for speed and SEO

We move stores off heavy themes onto a headless Hydrogen or Next.js frontend against the Storefront API, cutting load times and lifting Core Web Vitals while preserving Shopify checkout. Faster pages compound into higher conversion and stronger organic rankings.

02
Server-side event tracking and clean attribution

We capture checkout and order events via webhooks and the Customer Events pixel, forward them server-side to ad platforms and our warehouse, and rebuild attribution on first-party data. This restores match rates and gives paid media accurate ROAS to bid against.

03
AI merchandising and lifecycle automation

We push Shopify catalog and order data into models that drive predictive product recommendations, dynamic bundling, and churn-risk scoring, then activate the outputs through metafields, Flow, and lifecycle sends for measurable AOV and repeat-rate gains.

FAQ
Do you work with Shopify Plus and B2B?

Yes. We build on Plus and Shopify B2B — company profiles, catalog-level pricing, quantity rules, and wholesale checkout — and use Functions and Scripts-era logic for custom discounting and checkout behavior at high volume.

Headless or a Liquid theme — which should we choose?

It depends on your goals. Content-and-conversion stores often win fastest with a well-built Liquid theme; catalog-heavy or highly custom storefronts benefit from headless Hydrogen or Next.js. We scope both against your performance targets and roadmap before committing.

Can you connect Shopify to our warehouse and ad stack?

Yes. We stream orders, customers, and checkout events through webhooks and the Admin API into your warehouse or CDP, then activate that data back into paid media, attribution, and lifecycle platforms with server-side event forwarding.
